Feeding a racehorse is so important !

To formulate these products we wanted to have the following characteristics:

  1. To use natural, not oxidised ingredients;

  2. To use various source of proteins in order to provide all amino-acids, without getting an excess in Nitrogen;

  3. To reduce sugar intake in order to avoid a too acid digestion, first in the stomach and lately in the caecum;

  4. To provide part of the energy as fat, to stimulate a different energy system;

  5. To provide cellulose (fibres and pectin’s) in order to ensure a smooth transit and to promote the absorption of noble elements;

Here is the list of the ingredients used:

Rice barns, Minerals + Vitamins, Corn flakes, Oats, Yeast, Bean flakes, Chicory pulps, Carob, Potato proteins, Soya bean toasted, Carrots, Glycerol, Toasted wheat grains, Toasted corn grains, Flax chaff, Oats hulls, Wheat barns, Barley flakes, Soya beans oil, Flaxseed oil, Lucerne fiber, Wheat Bearded

This product Blue Spirit suits all racehorses.

In periods of rest or for breeding horses we recommend to use  BLUE SPIRIT Fibers (without additional oats). In training, except for anxious horses, BLUE SPIRIT SPORT will be preferably used.

Best is to divide the daily intake by 3 or 4 meals. Both of those products have to be used with good free hay.

A normal starting daily dose might be around 1 to 1,2 kg/100kg bodyweight and of course this dose has to be adjusted to each individual case, their temperament and energy needs.
